The Morton Arboretum wants to help communities understand the benefits of their trees. Illinois observes Arbor Day on the fourth Friday in April, in 2013 it is April 26th. As part of the festivities, the Arboretum is offering 100 free tree tag kits.
The tree tag kit program was developed by the Education and Community Trees Programs at the Morton Arboretum. It is designed to help teach school and community groups about the value of trees.
