The Suburban Water Task Force, a sub-group established by the West Central Municipal Conference (of which Willowbrook is a member), joined forces with state legislators in announcing legislation aimed at establishing the Water Rate Protection Act. This legislation would attempt to fairly regulate Lake Michigan water and put an end to automatic rate increases imposed by the City of Chicago. The WCMC press release is available for download below.
