[ARCHIVED] Madison Street under I-55 will be closed September 18th

IDOT is closing Madison Street under I-55 tonight, September 18, 2017, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Traffic will be detoured along both frontage roads and County Line Road. The roadway will be re-opened by 5 a.m. Their work should need only one night so no additional nighttime closures are anticipated.

The work is part of IDOT's project to install traffic monitoring fiber-optic communications along the Stevenson Expressway.
