The Village of Willowbrook, in cooperation with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, invites residents, village workers and other concerned citizens to a public information session Wednesday evening regarding a recent federal report on emissions of ethylene oxide from the Sterigenics International facility.
If you are unable to attend the forum or would like to submit questions in advance, we have set up the following email account and phone number. We will make sure your questions/voicemails get to the federal agencies.
Phone Number: 708-457-7399
A representative from the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, which authored the report, will be at the forum there to discuss public health-related concerns.
Experts from the U.S. EPA as well as the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency will attend. Sterigenics will also send a representative.
The information session is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Ashton Place, 341 75thSt, Willowbrook, IL.
