The Village of Willowbrook currently has a vacancy on its Plan Commission and is looking for a volunteer to serve their community. The Commission serves as the volunteer advisory board of the President and Board of Trustees. The Commission consists of seven residents who are appointed by the Village President for four-year staggered terms.
The Plan Commission meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:30 PM at the Willowbrook Village Hall. The Plan Commission makes recommendations to the Village Board with regard to development and redevelopment projects, annexations, subdivisions, zoning issues, and amendments to the Village Zoning and Subdivision Codes. The Plan Commission is the final authority with regard to zoning grievances.
