Stay Safe this Independence Day Weekend


The 4th of July is here! It’s a time to celebrate with cookouts and more but please, the DuPage County Health Department wants you to remember, COVID-19 is still here. 

Here are some tips to protect yourself, protect your family this 4th of July:

  • Know the W’s - Wear a face covering, Watch your distance and Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer
  • If you’re hosting a cookout or party, celebrate with a small group, such as your family and a few friends.
  • Are you visiting family or friends? Be sure to wear a mask, practice social distancing, wash your hands or use hand sanitizer, and don’t share cups, plates, forks, etc.

DuPage County businesses are open, so even if you make a quick trip to the store, remember, COVID-19 is still here. Wear a mask, practice social distancing and wash your hands or use hand sanitizer.
