Nicor Gas is participating in nearly 50 Fire Department Open Houses across northern Illinois to provide information on natural gas safety at home. These fun, family-friendly events, staffed by Nicor Gas Employee Ambassadors, will include activities for adults and children to increase awareness about important home safety measures that can help prevent fires. The Tri-State Fire Protection District open house will occur on Saturday, October 23, 2010 from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm at 6301 Western Avenue in Willowbrook.
