The Village of Willowbrook was officially incorporated on January 18, 1960. 2010 marks the Village's 50th anniversary.
To commemorate and celebrate, a 50th Anniversary Committee is planning celebratory events, starting with a Birthday Bash and Open House from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on January 17, 2010 at the Village Hall.
The event will feature tours of the Village Hall, children’s entertainment including face painting and a clown, as well as music and birthday cake. There will also be opportunities to meet past and present Village Officials, local politicians and local celebrity Corey McPherrin, FOX Chicago News’ sports anchor
