The Village of Willowbrook is pleased to announce that it was selected as the recipient of the DuPage Mayors and Managers Conference (DMMC) Best Innovation Award. The Village won the Best Innovation Award for our Hotel Crime Reduction Program, which was implemented in response to increased criminal activity in local hotels and motels. This program features collaboration and coordination between hotel/motel management and Police & Community Development staff to enhance safety through annual inspections, monthly crime trend reviews, and hotel/motel staff training on incident prevention and response.
