ComEd will be performing preventative tree trimming in our community over the next three months. Trees, branches, and vines that interfere with power lines can create safety hazards and cause outages. Regular maintenance helps reduce the likelihood of power interruptions.
As part of this work:
- Trees, branches, and vines that interfere with power lines will be trimmed.
- In some cases, tree removal may be necessary. Stumps will be treated with an approved herbicide to prevent regrowth, applied by state-licensed applicators.
- All work will be completed by trained, qualified arborists.
