On Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 3:30 p.m., two suspects gained entry into an elderly victim's home in the southwest residential area of Willowbrook. They advised the resident that they had recently purchased the home behind the victim and planned on making electrical improvements to the home. They requested to inspect the resident's basement and were allowed access. While inside, one suspect went in the basement while the second suspect went upstairs. Both suspects had portable radios and left in a white panel van. After the suspects left the home, the victim discovered that jewelry had been stolen from the residence.
One subject was described as male, olive-complexion, 5'6" tall, 160 lbs. No description on the second male offender.
