The Community Development Department is dedicated to the betterment of our community by ensuring quality developments and economic growth. The Department processes petitions for annexations, rezoning, site plan reviews and subdivisions.
On January 23, 2023, the Village Board approved Ordinance 23-O-08 for the Unified Development Ordinance and Zoning Map Amendment. The Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) is a comprehensive zoning code replacing Title 9 and Title 10 of the Willowbrook Municipal Code zoning code entirely, effective immediately. This is the first time the Village of Willowbrook has gone through a comprehensive zoning code update since it’s founding in the early 1960’s. The link to the updated UDO is below.
